Roadside Operations Specialist (f/m/d)
Location: Stuttgart

Your responsibilities

Ramp Up Activity

  • Develop solutions in a very dynamic environment between different cultures and mind-sets.
  • Establish and steer task force groups for specific Roadside Assistance and Mobility topics.
  • Apply best practices coming from own experience and market competitors.

Process Development & Implementation

  • Understand existing Roadside Assistance program and evaluate its applicability to smart Joint Venture or the need for adaptations.
  • Interact with the 3rd party organizations and internal stakeholders to provide an optimal offer on Roadside Assistance and Mobility.
  • Design, develop and implement Roadside Assistance and Mobility process, and execute the operations.  
  • Liaise with subject matter experts on Roadside Assistance program design, development and implementation.
  • Be the ambassador for digitalization in terms of Roadside Assistance and Mobility offers based on competiveness and profitability. 
  • Develop tools and methods to handle customer requests or complains on a second level support with transparency, and report on topics that demand internal improvements.
  • Identify and implement potential marketing actions on Roadside Assisstance and Mobility Package.
  • Report on program progress to management and all stakeholders, and manage program budget.

Operations Management

  • Development, management and expansion of a high-class service provider network.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers and be the interface for all relevant stakeholders for all Roadside Assistance and Mobility topics.
  • Responsibility for smooth procedures and processes, training, continuous improvement and developing KPI’s and reporting.
  • Evaluate customer feedback and contribute to resolve root causes to increase the overall customer experience.
  • Proactive and responsive resolution of dealer network and service provider concerns and issues.
  • Track and report on outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.


Your skills

  • University degree in Business Administration, Business Management or comparable degree

Professional Experience
  • Distinctive operative experience in the area of market management, customer management and steering or other areas like customer assistance centres (3+ years)
  • Preferably, experience with international and diverse cross-cultural environment ideally gained within the automotive sector (2+ years)  

Knowledge / Functional Expertise
  • Broad Knowledge of workshop processes, systems and contractual landscape at dealer level
  • Proven ability to build, develop and manage a supplier network
  • Basic Automotive technical Know-How, preferably with electrical vehicles
  • Knowledge of customer services processes like complaint and inquiry handling, roadside assistance and service contract
  • Big data knowledge understanding for application in responsibility area

Key Competencies / Soft Skills
  • Self-driven and out-of-the-box working way
  • Excellent organizational skills (ability to manage multiple tasks) as well as social organizational skills, with strong intercultural competence
  • Strong commitment and positive work ethic in order to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
  • Very good English skills, ideally also fluent in a Non-German European language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing routine reports and correspondence
