Global Procurement Specialist (w/m/x)

Location: Varaždin, Zagreb & partly home office

As a Global Procurement Specialist, you are part of dedicated teams with great specialization and development opportunities. You will support our Corporate Services departments in various tasks related to internal purchasing and purchasing for our customers and partners. You will work hand-in-hand with various stakeholders within our organization (e.g., requesters from Project Management, Learning & Development, Marketing and Sales) to successfully complete and correctly document purchasing and billing projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the operational and strategic purchase of products and services and take care of all commodity groups (from IT hardware, software, to technical services, training and education, office supply, etc.)
  • You are responsible for processing internal requirement requests and creating purchase orders in the Order Management system
  • You master the implementation of supplier selection, e.g., through tenders, taking into account the internal group specifications and build strategic business relationships with suppliers
  • You conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers in the national and international environment
  • You are responsible for supplier management (onboarding of new suppliers, master data maintenance, reporting, etc.) and independently prepare various analyses (demand, market, cost and supplier analyses)
  • You ensure audit-compliant documentation and management of all purchasing-related data and documents

Your Skills

  • You ideally have 2-5 years of professional experience in purchasing, a completed vocational training or a degree in business administration, financial management, controlling or accounting
  • You have an independent, structured and very careful way of working
  • You have a high affinity for numbers and are proficient in the use of Excel and/or other common software systems from purchasing and accounting
  • You are a friendly personality with a solution-oriented and proactive attitude, and you like to work in a motivated team
  • You are a communication talent, and bring very good English skills and preferably also good German skills in writing and speaking
